Please read the following terms and conditions carefully to understand your rights and obligations:
Since the start of our small business early this year, we have brought all Microsoft Zunes to customers in brand new and factory-sealed condition. Although we would prefer to continue this custom, we are forced to change our procedure due to an increased number of unexpected hardware issues with some of our units. Even if it's only a small percentage presumed to be affected we do not want to leave it on luck.
That said, we have decided that, starting the month of November 2008, it is imperative that all units be opened to test its buttons, and to inspect its screen and contents. Rest assured that we will open the box cautiously and handle all units with care. You will receive your unit in the same brand new condition (the unit will still be covered in plastic and will not be set-up). Now, we can personally guarantee that all units will not have any dead pixels or non-responsive buttons. It will still come with a 1-yr factory warranty if registered in zune.net and we will still give all units 1-week testing warranty.**
RESERVATION. We can hold a unit for you up to a week. After which, we require at least 15% of what's due as confirmation deposit -- no confirmation deposit means cancellation of order. If you tell us to hold a unit for you and on the 8th day and we don't receive the confirmation deposit, the 'reserved' unit will automatically be available for purchase by the next customer in line.
Please note that the confirmation deposit is nonrefundable. Thus, think about your purchase carefully before confirming your order. Ask us all questions you have in mind before placing it. Don’t hesitate to inquire about the units, the transaction, or anything business-related. We are more than happy to help you!
PICK-UP. We do meet ups in Katipunan area, Gateway, Recto Station, or any other LRT 2 stations during the WEEKENDS only. No MRT stations and LRT 1 stations please. We are unavailable during the weekdays. Please email us [zpilipinas at gmail.com] if you have any conflicts so we can work out a schedule.
If preferred, we may also ship orders through Air21 or LBC with shipping at the your expense. Tracking number will be provided.
PAYMENT. We accept and prefer BPI bank deposit and GCash. Keep in mind that there will be a 1% service charge for GCash transactions. COD is not advised. For security purposes, please transmit full payment through GCash the moment you meet up with us and have the Zune in your hands. Since GCash is transmitted in real time, GCash on Delivery (GOD) is a safer set up for both of us.
Important: By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read the terms and agree to them. If you do not wish to be bound by the terms, please do not place any order.
If you have found defects and are unsatisfied with the unit within the 1-week testing period, please tell us about it so we may help you troubleshoot your unit. It may just be a software, OS, or firmware problem. Please allow us at least 1 week to troubleshoot your unit before we replace or issue a refund. While we test your unit, we shall return the payment you have given us back to you less the nonrefundable confirmation deposit. We think it is just fair that you hold on to your payment until the issue is resolved.
We will definitely replace your unit with the same model, or give you a refund if: (1) we gave you a factory defective unit, (2) we have tested your unit and had no luck finding out what's wrong, (3) we have figured out what's wrong and it cannot be fixed.
We CANNOT replace your unit, upgrade your unit, or give you a refund if we have tested it and we have not found any of the reported defects. We stand by our items and guarantee that all our units are handled with care and are in perfect working condition.
The refund or exchange policy shall not apply and we shall not be held liable if the Zune Product:
· suffers scratches, cracks, or other cosmetic damage as a result of normal wear and tear and/or accident or abuse;
· is used with non-Microsoft hardware products or software not licensed by Microsoft (including but not limited to adaptors and power supply sources) or which are otherwise not compatible;
· is modified or tampered;
· is damaged by Acts of God, power surge, misuse, abuse, negligence, accident, wear and tear, mishandling, misapplication, intrusion of or exposure to liquids, or other causes unrelated to defective materials or workmanship;
· serial number is defaced, altered, or removed;
· is damaged by programs, data, viruses, or files
· is not used in accordance with the accompanying documentation and use instructions; or
· is opened, disassembled, repaired, modified, or altered by other than Microsoft authorized repair centers.
As unofficial resellers, we technically have no responsibility over a defective unit if you encounter problems with it after the 1-week testing warranty. Furthermore, since there are no official Zune service centers in the Philippines nor does Microsoft Philippines honor Zune warranties, know that purchasing a unit would be a risk to take. However, you may contact us if you wish to take advantage of your Microsoft Zune warranty in the US if (1) you have registered your unit in zune.net, and (2) you are AT MOST 3 months into purchase. Possible charges such as shipping fees (to the US and back) will be at the customer's expense.

A compilation of frequently asked questions about the Zune, the units we sell, the process, and all other questions almost all possible customers ask.
1 Are the units you're selling brand new?
Yes, all units we offer are brand new unless otherwise specified. We don't sell refurbished units but we have used/2nd-hand units at times. 2nd hand units are tested first and are described as accurately as possible.
2 Are Zune units readily available?
No, all units are on pre-order basis unless stated otherwise.
3 When is the next shipment?
We have regular monthly shipments. We've just started posting schedules in our calendar.
4 I'm not from Manila. How can I get a Zune?
No problem! We can ship it to anywhere in the Philippines through LBC. We'll provide you with the tracking number as well.
5 I'm not from the Philippines either. Can you ship it to me in *random Asian country*?
If you're willing to pay for the extra shipping cost then sure, why not? :D
6 Do you accept credit cards?
No but you can enroll your credit card on PayPal and send your payment through PayPal instead.
7 I don't have a Globe number and banks intimidate me. Any other options?
Sure. We now accept payments through Western Union and PayPal.
8 When should I send the confirmation fee?
We will contact you once your units are ready to be shipped from the US. After which you have a week to deposit the confirmation fee. If confirmation fee is not received within the week, your order will be automatically canceled to give way to the next customer in line.
9 What happens if my unit is ready to be shipped but I don't pay?
Unless you want your name and other personal details exposed for the public to see, let us know if you need to cancel an order. We would appreciate a text or an email that you will not be getting the unit. We reserve units for a week and once confirmed we expect that you stay true to your word. We will leave negative feedback if we deem it needed.
10 Does the built-in FM radio work in the Philippines?
Yes, it does but you won't see the name of the song currently playing on any frequency. Advance tuning capabilities only work in the US and Canada.
11 Does the Zune come with a wall charger? If not, how do I charge it?
No, it doesn't come with a wall charger but it can be purchased separately. It comes with a USB sync cable. Use the USB sync cable to charge the Zune through your computer.
12 Can the Zune display album art?
Yes, it does.
13 Can it read e-books?
Yes and no. The Zune support audiobooks. E-books aren't natively supported but there are hacks/softwares that can be downloaded for free that converts types of e-books to jpeg formats. You can then view your e-book as a slideshow.

14 Is it capable of showing lyrics while the song is played?
No, but others claim to have found ways around it. I haven't tried this personally but some say you can add lyrics when you edit track info.
13 Does the Zune 120 come with the premium earphones? If it doesn't, can I purchase one separately?
No, it doesn't. Only the Zune 80gb comes with the premium earphones. You may request it from us but it might not be worth it. Don't get me wrong. The premium earphones are good but personally, we think it's not worth the extra bucks. There are a lot of better earphones available locally that are within the Zune earphone's price range. If you're willing to spend for good earphones, why not just find something in the mall? Then again, if the Zune premium earphones is what you want, we shall give it to you ;)
14 Can I order a Zune Original?
Sure, as long as you agree with our price. It will cost a lot more because Zune Originals are ordered directly from zune.net so we cannot get units at a discounted price.
15 Can I place special orders of accessories?
Yes, as long as you're sure to get them. Just contact us to confirm. We might ask for a confirmation deposit prior to ordering if what you're requesting costs $60+
16 What makes it better than the iPod?
The answer to this question is subjective haha. Personally though, we think the Zune is the way to go, but then, we sell Zunes so we might say something like that haha. We suggest you read reviews from sites that are unbiased. In the end it's completely up to you. Buy whichever serves your needs - that would be the better player for you :)
Buuut haha let us throw these Zune features that the iPod doesn't have while we're at it: the Zune has a radio, wireless zune-to-zune sharing, and wireless syncing. The D-pad is touch sensitive - fly through your library easily as if you have a touch screen. You can also install games in your Zune. It can't be used as a hard drive so it less likely to be infected with viruses.

Before purchasing your Zune, please know what the system requirements are to avoid any problems.
To get the most out of Zune, your computer should meet minimum system requirements, including a 1.5 GHz processor or faster and 512 MB RAM or higher. You'll need a broadband Internet connection to make buying and streaming content a breeze, and a CD-R or DVD±R drive to burn CDs or DVDs. Of course, a wi-fi network is necessary for you to wirelessly sync your Zune to your computer.
